SL signed an agreement of the ISTC project.

Sarov Laboratories signed an agreement on implementation of the project “Commercialization of instrumentation for measurement of wool’ grade (ISTC# 3576)”.

The Project objective is development of commercial instrument for automating the wool certification process. This project is implemented under collaboration with Savannah River National Lab USA and University of Wyoming

Under ISTC Project # 647 it was developed the method of determining the average diameter and dispersion of wool fibers, based on digital processing the shadow pattern of laser radiation. Based on this method, a prototype of optoelectronic Device used for measuring the wool features has been designed and developed.

The instrument meets market demand in particular on the U.S. market, due to lower cost (~ k (U.S.)) and reasonable measurement accuracy, acceptable for determining the wool grade.
