SL specialists took part in the first Russian User’s conference of LMS systems.
Specialists of CSC Sarov Laboratories took part in the first Russian User’s conference “Systems and LMS Engineering Services – modern solutions for development of function-oriented products” which was held on March 13, 2007, Moscow.
The participants of the conference exchanged their experience in the area of LMS system application for optimal design task salvation. During the conference some successful examples of LMS products implementation for carrying out testing and computer simulation at the leading enterprises of Russia and worldwide were demonstrated. Detailed information about the possibilities of new version of LMS systems and plans of further development were introduced to the audience.
Sarov Laboratories demonstrated its presentation which was entitled “Application of LMS Virtual.Lab for car body design optimization according to noise and vibration parameters”.
Two-day seminar (March, 14-15) entitled “Innovations in the air craft engineering development: Advanced support tools for computer and physical testing” was held within the bounds of the conference by LMS International at the engineering conference hall of CAGI.
First day of the seminar was devoted to computer simulation, the second one – to modern means of test operation, collection and processing of experimental data. During the seminar LMS experts gave a demonstration of how Boeing optimized the mechanisms structure of new Boeing 787 Dreamliner, using LMS VirtualLab.Motion; Airbus optimized the overall structure of new À350 using associative parameterized mathematical models; EADS-CASA used 700-channel system of LMS ground base frequency testing to certify airplanes A400M and A330MRTT; SPA Saturn carried out real time data acquisition to control characteristics of a new engine SaM146 of Sukhoi SuperJet (RRJ) airplane.
