Conference “Polar Light - 2007”

SarovLabs specialists took part in XX international scientific conference of students and scientists “Polar Light – 2007” that was held on January, 29 – February, 3 in Saint-Petersburg. The report “The Institutional Mechanisms for Nuclear Technologies Nonproliferation in Restricted Administrative Areas” was presented there.

The subject of the conference was “Nuclear future: security, economics, and rights”. During the conference a number of problems regarding development of wide-ranging nuclear energy, introduction of innovation approaches and nuclear field technologies were discussed.

More than 260 participates from 7 countries (Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, USA, Great Britain, Germany, Hungary) took part in the conference. Among the visitors of the conference there were such well-known international organizations as: International Atomic Energy Agency, World alliance of console operators, World nuclear alliance, World nuclear university and WIN (women in nuclear field).
